OUR
STORY
Al Tuguri was born in the historic center of Alghero, among the streets of the ancient city. For over fifty years, it has been a reference point for those seeking cuisine linked to the territory, in an authentic setting.
The rooms are developed on several levels, between stone walls and intimate spaces, up to the terrace overlooking the city's rooftops. Today the restaurant is led by chef Francesco Pais, with work that maintains continuity with the history of the place.

Al Tuguri's cuisine is a journey into the flavors of Sardinia and, in particular, the Alghero tradition.
Tuguri's cuisine stems from Sardinian and Alghero traditions.
It is a cuisine of sea and land, based on the quality of raw materials and seasonality. The catch of the day, local meats and products from local farms guide our dishes, following seasonality.
Traditional dishes, coexist with more current preparations, always respecting the flavors and simplicity.

who love their land as we do.
Our wine list offers a wide selection of Sardinian labels, with an emphasis on indigenous varietals such as Cannonau and Vermentino. We collaborate with small local producers to ensure the highest quality and authenticity. We also use produce from our biodynamic garden to offer fresh, seasonal dishes.
